Finally! My Diploma in Fashion Design!!!

Hello Dreamers!!!
I'm here again before the year ends!

I want to talk about the 9:th August, the day when I got my diploma in fashion design~ I've wanted to talk about it already from the day I got them but I never got the time. I was really happy that day, and I think anyone would have been in my place... Reaching one of your dreams is always something you should be proud of. But that doesn't mean that you can just stay there on the spot and not do anything more~ You have to always keep fhiting forward! Becomming better and better should be your real goal!

As the day came, the 9:th August, I went to a café where I and the owner of Style Academy (who also was my teacher) planned to meet. It was a really hot and sunny summer day... Of course, they usually send the diploma home to you, but I asked if it's okay to meet in person instead. Why I wanted to do that was because I studied online and only saw her online. She's really kind and I think she has a good knowledge about fashion/beauty and I see her as a role model in the fashion industry. Not just that, but she actually also works as a fashion stylist.

So I was waiting for her in the café while I was drinking a milkshake because I came early. Then she came! We greeted each other and started to talk a little bit while drinking something warm. Then she surprised me by asking if she could interview me shortly so she can put it up on her Instagram. Honestly I wasn't prepared for that at all so I didn't know what to say. At the end we decided that she would just film my diploma and my design for the final project while asking me what I think about the studies at Style Academy. I want to show you the film but I changed it a bit because I don't want to show my whole design. It's a design that I really like and that I worked hard on... so I don't want to post it online just like that. But there's two pictures in the film that I captured from the real filming so you can see a bit of my design but you can't really see how it really looks like.

Here's the verry verry short interview:

And here are pictures of my diplomas. The "Fashion Fundamentals Course" certificate is for the first course that I took, and the "Training Diploma in Fashion Design" is for the intensive course that I changed to later.

Cute gift idea for a little fashion lover!

Hello girls! Hope everyone's having good days and that the summer is here soon (because it's still cold here >_< )! I know, I know... I've been really bad in updating my blog even though I have tons of ideas in my head that I really want to post. I will try to post at least once a week, I hope it will work! Today I'm going to give you a gift idea for a little fashion and design lover! If you know someone young that have a dream to become a fashion designer or that you think would like to draw fashion just for fun, this gift would be super good! So the gift I'm talking about is actually a book named "Drawing Fashion" by Hilary Lovell. I bought this book a few years ago before I started my fashion design studies. And even thought it's a book for younger ages, I loved it! Because I really, REALLY love fashion, it was a very happy moment for me getting this book. I bought it here in Sweden, so I have the swedish version. Honest...

New post in a new place~

Hello guuuys!! It's a new month, a new week and a new day!! And here is Sara with new energy in a new country! I'm actually back in Sweden! Yeay!! \(^o^)/ If you've read my earlier posts, you'll know that Sweden is my home country as I'm born and grown up here. So that's why I was happy to be back here now as well as because I LOVE traveling, and also because I would like to give birth to my child here in Sweden. So this is my first post from Sweden since I've been living abroad for a time now~ Actually I've been here for about a month now already, I came at the start of September and it's already October now. Time pass so fast... Anyway... I know I've been really bad with updating this blog and I'm so so sorry for that! I hope you're not getting bored and that you still have patience with me~ I will try my best to have more time for my blog. Ps. There will be an upc...

The Fashion World! What kind of fashion designer would I like to be?

Hello girls! =) I'm working on with the second lecture, but I'm going to talk a little bit about the things we learned and talked about in the first lecture, The fashion world! ^~^ Actually, before we started with any lecture and before we learned anything, we had to send in an assignment where we chose a picture of a design and then described what kind of model it was, what texture was used, what color the design is of etc... out of self-taught knowledge, just so the teacher can see how much you know and so on. But I think I was TOO careful and picky when I was searching for a picture to analyze, that it took longer time than writing the analyze itself :p This is the picture that I chose for my first assignment, the analyze~ Now to the first lecture!! --------->> The first lecture was really interesting and made me determined about my goals! My goals was almost the same before this lecture, but it became more clear. It was about the two types of fashion desi...
